Initial Post

Many people have suggested I start a blog, so this is my attempt. Here is the first sample entry. This blog is located at:

Topics for discussion will include computers, software, some social issues and some people issues. I will refrain from tirades and ad hominem attacks on Republicans and Democrats. However, I am not above discussing divisive issues in a constructive, or at least fact finding manner.

I have worked for IBM for the past 15 years and for most of it have managed some of the technical relationships between Microsoft and IBM. I have lots of friends in Microsoft and IBM. With these two companies, I must extend my promise to not engage in tirades and ad hominem attacks.

Can the truth come out without emotion in technical circles or politics? Who knows!?
